Murray Garsson is yet another enigma of the LKC. Out of nowhere, Murray and his team of investigators fly into Highfields to interview Anne, Betty Gow, Whateleys and whoever at 3am on 23 March 1932 just three weeks after the snatch. By this time the cops, mob and reporters are all gone? Murry berates Betty Gow and calls her a monkey and a liar. Murray makes Anne walk around in Charlies nursery to hear her footsteps,( twice?) and then takes Anne down the basement to look in the furnace for evidence of Charlies body. Murray works for the Dept of Labor and connects with Immigration and we are still not certain what "tip or lead" resulted in his Raid on the Lindbergh family? Could it be something about passports or visas? We dont know? More details can be found in Gardner and in Norris books. One of his investigators, frank Angell wrote to Gov. Hoffman in 1935: www.network54.com/Forum/503283/message/1171814639/Frank+Angell--investigator+for+Murray+

Hi Rick I believe the Ellerson account to Gov. Hoffmann was correct, but seen by him as outsider knowledge, as Charley was was covered in blood on driveway but not dead. His story tells of Elizabeth raving, but really only sees broken glass he thinks is from the window he thought Elizabeth threw Charley from.
The clues may be within immigration records, as Lindbergh's had undocumented employees. I know this first hand, because my father used this same access route three times, and rich east coast state families were eager for talented undocumented from Europe. My uncle Charles worked for Vanderbilts and cannot give yet location of my fathers three returns to U.S, but think he connected through a German South American Airline to East Coast Employment.
