I found it. Mr. Ousler handled Liberty Magazine, and perhaps other pulishing business. Ousler Had printed JASFIE Sories, and there is another article out there that claims he had new information on the case that caused Dr. Condon to visit Ousler on Falmouth. Mrs. McFadden sued Ousler and had actulay accused Ousler of stealin Charley to make advancement and circulation in the several magazines her husband owned.

is interesting aticle in several ways. I read something some years ago that either a publisher or book company agent in the location of Falmouth was visited by Dr. Condon perhaps for a book or a series of articles. If I can find it will post it?
The body found was highly suspect to newspaper reportes of that era, and one reporter had smuggled out a morgue picture of the childs body that looked like three to four year old child that can be seen in Theon Wright'sBook "In Sarch of the Linbergh Baby".

Cape Cod and the Islands had several interesting ties to the case from the beginning. On April 2, 1932, an agent for the Lindberghs met with a man who claimed to be one of the kidnappers in a cemetery in the Bronx. The agent gave the man $50,000 in ransom. The man gave the agent a note that read:
The boy is on the Boad [Boat] Nelly. It is a small boad 28 feet long. Two persons are on the boad. The are innosent. you will find the Boad between Horseneck Beach and Gay Head near Elizabeth Island.
The man disappeared with the money. The Coast Guard searched the area, but found no boat and, more importantly, no baby. But now the entire coastline, including Martha's Vineyard, the Cape and all of Buzzards Bay were tingling with notion that the Lindbergh baby was somewhere nearby.
Then, on April 6, the state police swarmed into Falmouth. John Jones, a resident of Waquoit, reported he saw a man and woman with a baby carriage on a small boat near the Falmouth shore of Waquoit Bay, headed toward Great Neck which in those days was sparsely populated.
Falmouth Police Chief William Mercer found imprints in the beach near where Jones said the boat had been heading. A witness, Bartlett Wright, claimed to have seen a man waiting on the beach, pacing back and forth. Wright heard a boat arrive, then saw the man with a woman and a 10-year-old child. He saw no baby. A few minutes later he heard the roar of an automobile engine as it pulled away.
The man, woman and child were never found. Everyone quit looking for them on May 12 when the decomposed corpse of an infant was found buried in a shallow grave in the New Jersey woods about two miles from the site of the kidnapping.
Although there is still some debate even today, the corpse was believed to be the remains of Charles Jr. The police efforts now became solely one of finding the kidnappers and bringing them to justice
Not sure, but do you know if the Dr. Edward Condon of Princeton was related, and below I post some interesting information that if he is related may explain some of Dr. Condon Stories, and which many have seen as planned press release from Lindbergh. Keyhoe was frequent visitor and military agent for Lindbergh tours, but he was well trained in undecover operations, and later wrote books on UFO's. It seems that some of this may have been needed for some reason in the Lindbergh case

There is an interesting story in the story preeceeding Hauptmann in the last post above about the Vanderbilt child a relation to Morrow it seem, and may give an explanation to what happened to Charley. This same kind of procedure was used in many rich family, where greedy lawyers would take trusts from new generations, and is similar to what happened to me loseing my trust fund.
Regarding the Vanderbilt Girl trust takeover, they did similar grandstands with the trust I was given by my grandfather, but didn't wrestle it from me till 1949 with a convenient accident. My father had the gall to keepit till 1999 when he offered to give it back with unmarried brother as trustee, but both died wrather quickly lleaving it in the hands of a death bed will. Interest ing fact my Uncle Chales worked for Vanderbilt, and wonder how they all got the same ideas?
Here are the DR. Condon Pictures I wanted to post before the lights went out. Look at the girl arrested in the case three rows down
