Many Lindbergh theorists speculate that his personnel war with bootleggers of the period was a possible reason for his sons kidnap. The Purple Gang had also been considered, because of their use of kidnapping to force others to cooperate and extort money. It has been also one of my pet theories that Lindbergh stumbled on the crime of the century, as described in a book titled Project Seek, and for that reason his son was kidnapped and permanently held to silence him. Freedom Domain Catalog. Hard to get Books everything from Jesus Genealogy to J.F.K. Project Seek; Onassis, Kennedy and the Gemstone Theory, by Gerald A. Carroll. Joseph Kennedy, Onassis master bootleg then team with Roosevelt's on heroin. www.freedomdomain.com/Catalog/catbookg.htm

Rita/ I think your bootlegger theory is an excellent start point! I left it out of my Master List the other day:
1. Al Capone out of jail etc. 2. Family member/ accident theory 3. Revenge theory The bootleg theory would nicely connect to #3. And likely result in Charlies death immediately. And finally connect with Charlie's dumped body on Hopewell-Princeton Pike. BRH wasnt in the Purple Gang but maybe Gows brother was?
But how does CAL know he has been "had" so early on? And why does he go thru all the motions of a Kidnap Plot with the Condon/BRH/Fisch/De Grasi Gang in the Bronx. The gang without Charlie? Who is CAL covering for? Himself? Is he delusional?
Last, with regards to the insider who wipes the bedroom--My first thought was to insure there are no prints from a family member. But in the bootleg theory it is the insider makeing certain that the perps fingerprints are wiped so they dont get caught.
CALthrows Violet Sharpe to the wolves, but covers for Gow and Whately? Odd.

Try the site again one capital letter made the difference. The area of Elizabeth Island is near West Falmouth according to Sam on Ronnelle's, where Jafsie sees a editor named Oursler that works for Macfadden the publisher of Liberty Magazine. They publish a series on the kidnap, but Mrs. Macfadden then claims they stole Charlie. Interesting that this location is on Cape Cod near Hyanis where a few different presidents had their playground.

Gow's Brother is a good possibility since she had court assistance in denying she had a brother here, but visited with him in Detroit according to Ford Motor Security. The brother she visited in Detroit did work for the Purple Gang. Wilentz was supposed to have a signed affadavit denying that the Detroit Gow was her brother. Her room was the closest to Charlie making it easy to wipe down.

Rita/ Curtis also gets contacted by a "gang". the gang has a boat, a Glouchester schooner. The gang has 5 persons.plus a bunch of women. Dyn is for Dynamite. John, Lars, Hilda, Inez the radio operator. Curtis meets them up in Newark, in Cape May and in Freeport LI. this gang must be real and sure look like rumrunners. They even have the Ransom money! I can only surmise that during the 19 days that CAL and Curtis are sailing up and down the east coast on the Catchalot searching for the Mary B. Moss--Curtis is explaining to CAL why charlie had to be taken. Prohibition had merged with Big Busininess interests and many of the Crooks were now All-american Upstanding Citizens like Curtis AND Masons. And just like Curtis in the severe Depression they were going belly up financially.
My best quess is that the instant CAl read the Nursery Note found in the "CRIB" he realized that other Masons were after him! It wasnt any "Mafia warning symbol" as guessed by Jafsie Condon HS borne idiot--but a "Mason warning symbol" recognized in about 10 seconds. [mater, pater, son=blood] CAL then put the Nursey Note into a blank envelope, sealed it and set it onto the window ledge to be opened 2 hours later! Gow must have known he had already read it!

That does seem like he was given high ranking masonic warning of the most extreme nature that his son would be held to shut his mouth. It was orchestrated by our public servant controllers, and Lindbergh stopped his bootleg quest, but then turned against Roosevelt realizing that this threat came from him.

Hi Rita/ its an odd connection between Betty Gows brother and the Ford Motor Company. Ford is one of CALS mentors and makes up the other 1/2 of the American (nazi) Axis? Ford writes the International Jew in 1926?
Maybe Ford has Brother Gows sister sent over to work for CAL? But is there also a link to the Purple Gang. Both Ford and CAL were strict prohibitionists and dint approved of any drinking. Were the Purple Gang into rumruning and speakeasys?

Purple Gang worked all the rackets, but one of their favorits was kidnapping, and had kidnapped not only for money but knew how to kidnap for political pressure. If the Political Trio needed CAL silenced they would have Picked the Purple Gang for it's experience in kidnapping. To achieve CAL's silence they would need to keep CAL Jr, because if the body found was CAL Jr. there would be no need for him to keep silent on the Trios bootleg and drug enterprise.

Rita/ only one investigative author found a permanent home for Charlie Jr: Wayne Jones in "Murder of Justice"/. On page 1122 Wayne reports finding a man named Bill Wright in 1980 who knew of Martin Stover took a baby, a woman and a man named Weisman to Cali, Columbia witha pilot named Peter Von BAuer. Wright said that Isador Fisch met the plane!! VonBauer was later mentioned by CAL in his memoirs Wartime Journals published in 1970. Just a another coincidence? Jones also linked STover to Fisch in a mink fur smuggling operation?

In the event we continue to discover that the singnature or symbol on the Nursery-Ransom Notes is masonic in origin there will be no shortage of possiblilties for the 3-HOLES: 1. the three pillars of masonry seen in the First Degree-- S trength, B eauty and W isdom other possibles are Faith/ Hope and Love or: The chaplain wears what is perhaps the most important symbol within our Lodge, for his jewel portrays the open volume of Sacred Law, without which no Lodge can operate. This symbol expresses our dedication to the God in whom we have a personal belief. It guides us in the erection of our spiritual building and points out our whole duty. It is the rule and guide to our faith and is kept in our hearts between our meetings. The Bible on the jewel is open upon a triangle which has additional symbolism for the Christian mason in that it represents the trinity. For all masons the triangle can remind us of the three moral virtues, the principle tenets of our profession, the knocks, the ruffians, the Great Lights, the lesser lights, the three degrees, the three Grand Masters, God and the Holy St.'s John and the steps, both our individual ones and those upon which the Master presides. There are so many references to the number three that it rivals the number s even for sheer volume. Suffice it to say that the symbolism of this particular jewel is particularly meaningful to masons, and each should have his own particular interpretation without any suggestion that this should be imposed on others. Again at this point you should observe the positive nature of the symbols and the major influence they should have upon our thoughts. www.occultartgallery.com/occultartgallery/harris/harris1.htmlwww.occultartgallery.com/occultartgallery/harris/tba1819.html

Wayne D. Jones in his book Murder of Justice, on pagee 1122, tells of Fish meeting a plane with passengers Martin Stover, a baby, a woman and a man named Weisman to Cali Columbia in South America, and the pilots name was Peter Von Bauer. Pilot Bauer was Part owner Of Columbia's Airline Avianca, and was mentioned in Lindberg's Memoirs. Inerestingly we have Fisch and Weisman mentioned together, and recalling that a Weisman sold the Mersman Table with the Hauptmann clearing confession, what part did Weisman and Fisch play in the kidnapping?
If author Carroll is correct in his book Project Seek the Purple Gang may ave been called on because of their kidnapping expertize to hold CAL Jr. for CAL's silence regarding the Roosevelt, Kennedy, Onassis, bootleg and drug enterprise. The last trip the presidential yacht Potomac made before sinking in San Fransisco Bay, was carrying a load of marijuana for some drug cartel.
Weisman and Fisch being together in Cali Columbia sounds as if the Onassis connection is making CAL permanently obliged to keep silent on whatever infomation he may have on this famous trios illegal activity.

Further lessons on Freemasonry:
THREE POINTS. Three points in a triangular form (.°.) are placed after letters in a Masonic document to indicate that such letters are the initials of a Masonic title or of a technical word in Freemasonry, as G.-. M.. for Grand Master, or G.°. L.°. for Grand Lodge. It is not a symbol, but simply a mark of abbreviation. The attempt, therefore, to trace it to the Hebrew three yods, a Cabalistic sign of the Tetragrammaton, or any other ancient symbol, is futile. It is an abbreviation, and nothing more; although it is probable that the idea was suggested by the sacred character of the number three as a Masonic number, and these three dots might refer to the position of the three officers in a French Lodge. Ragon says (Orthodoxie Maçonnique, page 71) that the mark was first used by the Grand Orient of France in a circular issued August 12, 1774, in which we read "G.. O.. de France." A common expression of anti-Masonic writers in France when referring to the Brethren of the Craft is Fréres Trois Points, Three Point Brothers, a term cultivated in their mischief survives in honor because reminding the brotherhood of cherished association and symbols. The abbreviation is now constantly used in Freneh documents, and, although not aeeel)ted by the English Freemasons, has been very generally adopted in other countries. In the United States, the use of this abbreviation is gradually extending.
Thus, any space after a capital letter might be considered mesonic: as in B oad in the final ransom note?

There may have been a code or colloquialism written into the B oad Nellie, as Nellie is a term for Eleanor or Helen, and a phrase made up of the colloquialism meanings. Boy.-. on aft deck Eleanor or Helen, or was an affectionate name for someones yacht perhaps Onassis, Kennedy, Roosevelt etc. . Some of the hidden meaning for Nellie came from Charles II, and Oscar Wilde, and often referred to poor or unfortunate condition.
Thanks for the Masonic Symbolism sites, as that brings to mind some philosophy I have studied.

RickIII ~ Thanx for inviting me onboard. Hopefully I'm fairly immune to "archers", (other board). Mostly I can maintain alligator hide, but confess I can, at times, turn into a goldfish. The board(s) is everso interesting! Have spent many hours reading.

Welcome mairi. We try to use new ideas and apply them to various parts of the case, and as you can see nothing is written in stone in this case simply because so much was left out by the actual case paticipants.
