The nursery had no fingerprints or footprints that should have been present from the mud on the rainy day. I couldn't even speculate as to how someone unfamiliar could have entered through a window grabed a child that might be wakened, and clean down the room before exiting. I think most VD'rs try to go around this part of fiction, because there is no rational explanation.

Hi Rita....this is a very cool move/ kudos to the Web Master! I have been thinking about Michaels site and one drawback is the way the strings spread out by topics? Bigger and bigger and bigger? One idea might be to have strings under one persons name like: Violet Sharpe; Betty Gow; Red Johnson; John Condon; Cemetary John? Why...because Theories is too big? Its better to have more strings with focused titles. Anyhow, I hope you can think of ways to invite the other girls? There are many ways in which the kidnapping seems staged by a small number of insiders? Where is any evidence of any outsiders? Forensic evidence? CAL could have brought the Nursery Note home from Manhattan? In fact, Noel Bern thought that CAL wrote the nursery note and Anne only mused that Charlie was missing?

Is a great idea, and I will do something in that direction.

Rita for Rick I need to make a list of each persons name involved in the case, and hope you can help with that? I believe it would be the only way to actualy gain knowledge of that persons whole paticipation.

Hi Anne50 I suspect that CAL had known all the characters in the case before the kidnap, and the handwriting was at best a general foreign handwriting, and was not exactly like Haptman's. If the Morrow and Lindbergh employees were visiting Cerritta for sceances it is likly CAL may have attended also. Didn't he go to Casey for a sceance after the kidnap storey, and it seems odd that he shunned the employees medium after the kidnap?

Hi Kathy Thanks for the support, and made the site for us thinkers. Other sites are over populated by those that blindly accept court findings as written in stone, and people familiar with court know the fastest and trickiest win, whether right or wrong.

To Anne I agree about the circus nature and feel sorry for people that go through our justice circus. CAL was overly supported by his buddy Schwartzkopf, and detectives eager for promotion tried only to find evidence that projected the case away from CAL.

Anne, I think the man may have had Aspergers syndrome. Greg Alhgren pointed out on the program last night how sick CAL's "practical" jokes were. I thimnk Anne was frightened of him.

I agree that he was a frightening person, and his practical jokes may be high on the list for Charlies dissapearance. I read an aticle yesterday that on his tour after the famous flight he was un-cooperative with interviews, and was brushed aside as his not understanding the people were there simplyto find out more about him.

Two things about CAL: he was some sort of engineer. Engineering, piloting, is akin to mechanisms and math, mechanics of metal parts making horsepower. No room for feelings in this particular field. its not about people. CAL prided himself on "accuracy"...if your mechanic makes a mistake you die. So precision was his game. This would be perfect for someone making 3-holes in paper?
Rita/ in terms of CAL not meeting with Mary Cerrita and REV. Birritella, well that can be tagged onto Rosner. For whatever reason, CAL named Rosner as his first go-between, not between him and the imaginary kidnap gang, but between him and all inquiries. In order for Rosner to maintain control over the situation to further his own power trip or something, he screened all phone calls from CAL and handled things himself. its astounding that Rosner and Breckenridge met with the pair in Princeton Junction. Since when do super wealthy attorneys meet in seances. One author even added Schwartzkofp to the seances, but that was in error.
CAL either planned this circus of weird personalities or fell into it by his own mistakes and miscalculations.

Rick, my husband is an engineer and they are a breed unto themselves, the kind you would want to design your bridges; however, you are right the focus is on perfection; they can't help themselves. I wasn't kidding about speculating if CAL had Asperger's syndrome.

Kathy....my dad was a WWII fighter pilot/ engineer that idolized CAL. he rebuilt 2 antique airplanes from 40-s. Whenever my Mom got sick or ill or disabled my dad wanted the surgeons to fix it right now! The last surgery is probably what killed her. Dad saw bodies like planes, just find the right mechanic and rebuild> But when my dad got skincancer of the throat the first thing he said was "No Surgery!". My Dad is CAL/ lock, stock and ridicule. Even my dad did not call me IT? CAL would have wanted the surgeons to "fix" Charlie and make him right too/
