The Hammond Times/ March 20th 1938
Tacoma, Wash/ the Tacoma Times said today that local police had received a pickup order from NJSP for the arrest of J>L Nosovitsky, 45, on a charge of conspiracy in the LKC.
The suspect is a former member of the Russian secret police, a former private detective, undercover agent for Scotland Yard. He is also listed as a former prohibition agent under Gaston B. Means.
The order, from Cpt. John J. McNally, describes Nosovitsky with "hawk-like features" and stooped shoulders! Former aliases listed are JJ Faulkner, Jergens, Brinkley, Shanne, Saunders, Brinkman, "Doc" Anderson and Noso.
Arnt we looking for a stooped shoulders lookout at Woodlawn and St. Raymonds? You know, the guy who signals to CAL by blowing his nose?
Note: Nosovitsky is apparently MIA from January 1928-March 1938? Do you really believe that? Where was he?

Tacoma Washington is a surprise, and I seem to recall maybe more than a year ago listing a Library of Congress site photograph from around 1880 from Washington State with principle Lindbergh Case names in a group picture, such as Condon, Nosovitsky, Means, etc.. I think I posted it on Ronnelle's, but don't remember if I put it here, and remember being curious if it was their parents?
This proves the law knew something other than the general news handed out to the public, but what was that something other national security, perhaps spy intrigue, and if so did the kidnap story realy happen?
