There have been many persons claiming to be Charles Jr., but did Annn and Cal travel to possible leads to CAL Jr's where abouts?
There are many claimants to be CAL Jr., but some have been more convinceing than others, and did the Lindbergh's make special trips to those leads?
Something interfered with CAL Jr's return that had nothing to do with ransom or accident, but did CAL and Dr. Carrel's philosophical, political beliefs, or experiments, lead to the refusal to return CAL Jr.?

Hi Rita/ this is an excellent question. What kind of karma causes all these folks to say they are Charlie Jr. Cynics might say its the karma of the almightly dollar? But thats only part of it.
The newest contender is named by Bill Norris in his e=book: Loren Paul Husted who lives in California and now calls himself Charles Lindbergh Jr.
Wayne Jones names another three contenders in Murder of Justice: Harold Roy Olson (also Theon Wrights favorite), Kenneth Kerwin of Darian CT, and William Kerwin from Eagle PA. To these we can add Robert Aldinger of Florida, who has called me personally to claim the throne.
One explanation is they are all the illegitimate sons of CAL but like the German offspring thier mothers are not Anne Morrow Lindbergh? This fact alone might have inhibited Anne from chasing them all down? There use to be an olde saw: You always know who your Mother is? CAL turns that phrase on its ear/

I remember reading about one of the claimants who visited Anne and took her flowers, wish I could remember who it was. Can anyone help with this? And do you remember if they discussed who he thought he was?

Who is the black woman from Trenton, NJ? She must be another new character in this Lindbergh play. Ana or anne50 Not exactly new, Ana. I found this: "In 1989 Geneva E. Cato Fields of Trenton filed her "claim," backing it up with a self-published memoir entitled "I Located Myself, The Lindbergh Baby Alive." Ms. Fields, who was raised in Oklahoma, wrote that in 1978 she learned from a friend about "the Skin Dye Procedure my Bananna-Split Sex operation and seeing my birth records stating Born MALE-WHITE, My mind blocked the fact and I wrote this book, as you can see, as if I had never been told, Until my skin dye started to fade in March this year I still kept blocking the fact i did not want It to be true. but it is." Reached at her home this week Ms. Fields said, "It is a very sad, sad, truthful story for me. Every time I see my picture in the paper I want to cry."" I new this subject would arouse interest, and there is good reason resulting from Dr. Carrel's experimentation. Dr. Carrel was doing some very interisting experiments involving DNA in life extension and memory that I happened to have an opportunity to work with. Washing the chicken cells with the amino acid vitamin solution brought them life, but am not sure knowing Carrel's place in this if these were early invivo inseminations or CAL running amock. This could mean the black Lindbergh could be possible, and might be of interest to check out that possibility along with the others.
To Elyssa I think that was Robert Aldinger. To Anne I read about the black woman but there was only a short mention.
To Rick Are the two Kerwin's related, and I did read some of the Olson information. I worked as a hotel assistant manager at a time which the Lindbergh's met with a local City Mayor about a local case lead. This City displays the familiar Lindbergh posters for a missing child each year, but am not sure who the topic of that lead was. I can imagine that some individuals may not want publicity, but there may be some common link that could be important to the case, and for that reason we should research or study them more closely.

Robert Aldinger called me up at work a few times and went thru his entire story starting with the grandparents during the civil war (bad title for war?) Anyways, it went on and on for hours. The sum total was that somehow, BRH lived with Fritz and Lena Aldinger and then, somehow BRH morphs into Fritz and kicks Lena out? Then Fritz and BRH murder the Aldinger kid and sub in Robert after the kidnap. Well, pretty close--there is 5 years at Boystowne in there too? Robert still hates BRH for killing little Frita Jr. or Robert was very popular on Michaels olde board but cannot manuver around this new format. I agree with him. the running total board was easier to follow. Robert used to get 450 hits on a single post but Ill be darned if i know how. Probably the VDers getting off on him? Anyways, I think, to align with the title of the string that CAL purposely blocked as many followup investigations as he possibly could. CAL pursued these massive operations, all leading exactly nowhere. CAL blocked all chances to catch CJ and his gang in 1932...and then got double crossed on the Extortion Hoax. Big surprize, they asked for a token of the snatchers sincerity--the sleeping suite. For the most part, this case should be called the Sleeping Suite Hoax. Maybe someone was conned into kidnaping a body and then CAL needed to buy it back? Maybe the snatchers believied Charlie was just sleeping?

Yikes/ I just caught a huge Typo....back a couple three notes...Good observation Kathy....the real name of the third lindbergh claimant is William (Bill) Simon NOT Kerwin...how could that slip by my Eaglet Eye? Simom was a personal friend of Wayne Jones and he appeared on TV with him several times. Page 1078 in Murder of Justice/ Sorry

That could be the logic that went into the Lindbergh extortion.

Hi Minnie/ this Onlon spoof raises an important concern.. ..although the kidnap gang fixed the ransom at a very round and convenient $50,000 bucks, they never said where to leave it how to get contacted by the Lindberghs--as if that should be a problem? They are at home waiting--how about phone? Not only is the amount not too believable but no instructions for posting it somewhere are a huge oversite.
It would be interesting to see the ransom note for Constance at Milton Academy. It was also for $50K but said to leave it in a stone wall? Not such a good plan either? If they can pull off the kidnap they should have thought long and hard about how to get the money in exchange for the kid and quickly doncha thinks?

I would like to raise an issue just to make a reasonable comparison in the same light as if CAL and Anne were seriously negotiating for a live Charlie and not a sleeping suite:
What is the most efficient way for the imaginary kidnappers to return Charlie?
1. Send a telegram like Mary Ceritta and Peter Biratella did to get an audience with Rosner and Breck?
2. Call Highfields and talk to CAL or annne or someone--leave a message?
3. Set up a secret meeting somewhere agreeable. Since CAL does not want them to be caught (to protect Charlie) its reasonable?
4. Skip all the in-betweeners like Rosner, Spitz, Bitale, Madden (killers in thier own right) and Condon, and Curtis etc. Deal with the parents.
5. Put the ransom somewhere only the snatchers can grab it without getting caught. Then get Charlie back and do it quickly. Everyday wasted looking for Condon threatens Charlie.
6. If these perps can pull off the Crime of the century then they must know how to get the money. They had a whole year to think about that. what do you think--who ever heard of a kidnap without a plan to get the payoff? A Staged Hoax.

This logic is correct as if someone kidnaps for money the money excange is primary concern. There is another alternative though were a kidnap is done to achieve some purpose other than money. This can can be to force an event, say an exchage of prisoners, return of property, or the child can be held as a permanent hostage to make CAL do something against his will.

Yes Rita/ if in fact Charlie is snatched to swap out for Al Capone then it all makes sense to hire Mickey Rosner, Bitz, Spitale and Owney Madden (Capones counter part in NYC). My number one candidate to "impress Big Al" is Wendel since he had tried this before with the beer scam. Doesnt CAL opine at one point "someone may have to die?"/ It sure is interesting how Rosner and Madden drive around with Cerrita and Birritella searching for the Farmhouse on the hIll? Mary Cerrita says "the baby is dead". Almost before Condon gets involved.

rick, I know i'll get all sorts of comments about this but i was thinking about the house "on the hill" when i was 17 months old my baby brother was born and I asked my mom as an adult if they kept him way up high. she said no, he was in a basket on a card table, then it occured to me that that was way up high to a 17month old. anyway, some of cayce's readings posssibly were misinteroreted becayse of this type of misunderstanding. siince the baby's body was in a swallow grave maybe the house nearby was "on a hIll" in relationship to the placement of the body. too many simliarities not to mention the fact they even got into see the folks at hopewell. since we were discussing the occult.....

Kathy....dont worry about any sorts of comments. Its like assembling a puzzle--if the piece doesnt fit here we'll try it there.
I see what you mean/ when you are small or "low down" other things look "high up"> I think the connection to the olde rented Farmhouse in Mt. Rose Hill is a good one. Its easily possible that Charlie was buried there first and then moved to Hopewell--Mt Rose road by Shippell. It is also important that Rosner and Madden of the Mob drove Cerrita and Biratella all over Hopewell looking for the House on the Hill. Maybe they didnt know where CAL and Anne live so nearby? After that Mary and Peter "dropped out of sight" until December 1934?
Rita had a good point about Edgar Cayce and thus Mary Cerrita. They both survived on overhearing information and a web or network of spies. Cayce even had a hospital to secure rather secret information. It was the distinct opinion of Joe Dunninger that Mary Cerrita did not have any direct pipeline to the Spirits and that all her information was gleaned from "this earthly plane" So if she says "Charlie is Dead" then thats what she heard on the street.

Good logic Kathy, as real psychic phenomenon occur from perspectives that are not understood completely until the situation is seen close up. In parapsychology there are some interesting scientific theories about why that happens. Before Einstein they used to have a corpuscular theory of light and how it retains images that can be viewed psychically. Infra-red photography can pick up the trail of what was in an area because the photons are still excited (heat). These photons have various means of observation, and parapsychologists can use instruments to track such emanations. I have built such apparatus for that purpose, and do believe the long formulas used to explain such phenomenon must mean something.

Laura Vitray was the first author to accuse the NJSP and the budding FBI under Hoover of failure to follow up leads in March 1932 (see Ronelles boardsite for Vitrays CD Book--Whats all the hulabaloo?). Laura got the boot from Hurst News for her book, L. Andrew Hurst ultimately hiring Deathhouse Rilley to defend BRH.
William Norris continues this theme in his new e-book "A Talent to Deceive". Its well worth the price to download this manuscript. In his book Norris documents example after example of leads not followed up by any police organization. At least, if they were followed and anything discovered it was deep-sixed forever.
This failure to follow leads, parallels CALs threats not to follow CJ, or anyone involved in the case for fear of Charlies life. But everyone knows early on that "Charlie is dead" so all this Hype and Hullabaloo only proves the Hoax. If there was a kidnap then the perp was known by the Family and all prints were wiped away. "No bloodhounds, no mountain men, no searches"! And the coverup begins.....
